    PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Thin and scrawny, but by no means slow. In fact, Dylan is quick. Very quick. He once raced for the school, district, and region when he was younger. And he won. No matter how much he tries to eat and put on weight, it never happens. His metabolism burns everything away too quickly.

His hair is short on the back and sides, but longer on the top. His eyebrows are thick, and his teeth are almost perfectly white.

    PERSONAL HISTORY

Dylan was born and raised on an estate in the east of London. He lives with his mum, and that's it. His dad left him when he was a child. And he's never seen him since.

It puts Dylan off ever wanting to have children, because he's afraid he's going to do the same, even though he promised himself multiple times he wouldn't.

Dylan left school when he was sixteen — the earliest the legal system would allow him — and went to work in a car garage. He fixes, mends, and does the MOT for cars. He doesn't mind it, but he knows it's means to an end. It's just a short-term job while he works towards his dream of propelling his career into the stratosphere. In fact, one of his biggest role models is Stormzy. Coming from nothing and shooting to fame. Plus, Dylan absolutely loved Stormzy’s songs.

Thanks to the struggle and torment in his life, Dylan found himself dealing with drugs from early on in his teenage years. Nothing too heavy, but still class B. Cannabis. He smokes almost everyday, and he find it helps him relax and produce music. It opens a lot of avenues for creativity. He's a keen advocate for legalising it.

    LIKES/DISLIKES

Dylan’s passion is music. Always has been, always will. There are no two ways about it. He loves the sound. He loves the movement. The elation. The happiness it makes him feel.

And, more importantly, he loves to make it. He's dreamt of one day becoming a sensation — producing and writing music so he can inspire a generation of other younger individuals.

His love for music began when he was younger, and he began to tap on anything: the table, pots, pans, the toilet seat. Everything. And then he listened to a lot of rap and hip-hop during the noughties, and realised that is what he wanted to do.

So far, he's been able to create a few songs. He just needs some more money so he can release his EP collaboration with a friend who is helping him to master the tracks.

    OTHER

What was his most embarrassing moment? I once released a single, and it was a terrible one, where I had someone else’s voice in there. I tried to release it all on my own but that didn't work. And when I was recording one of my verses, I had my mum shouting at me in the background, and I forgot to delete it. Fortunately, no one heard, but it was still embarrassing. How can people take me seriously when I've got something like that in my songs?

What’s his greatest strength? Making music. That's the only thing I'm good at. And it's the only thing I ever want to be good at. I can't think of anything else I'd rather be doing with my life. It's the best job in the world.

What’s his greatest flaw? Listening to other people's shitty advice when it's not needed. I was mastering a song the other week with a friend’s friend. He listened to some of my stuff and told me it would be better if I did it a certain way. I listened to him. Released it. And then it got slated because of the thing this bloke told me to add. It ruined the song, and it ruined me. I had to pull it down from the internet and start again.

Proudest achievement? Releasing my own songs. And making my mum proud of me. She knows music is what I want to do, and she knows that it's not going to pay the bills yet, but one day it will. One day it will.

Biggest secret… if I told you that, I'd have to kill you.
